Sitges Festival 2014 started last Friday with “REC 4 Apocalipsis”, which marks the end of the successful saga created by Jaume Balagueró. Other movie premieres are the ones of “Maps to the stars”, last film by David Cronenberg, or “Adieu au langage”, by Jean-Luc Godard.

Catalan and Spanish cinema will have a strong presence during the festival. In addition to REC 4 there will be: the last winner in San Sebastián, Magical Girl (Carlos Vermut), L’altra frontera, Musarañas and Autómata, by Antonio Banderas.

Antonio Banderas himself will be honored day 9. Other distinguished guests will be Roland Emmerich (Independence Day) and Pablo Helman, who has worked in Star Wars films and who is a long-term collaborator with Steven Spielberg.

All this and much more will happen in Sitges until Sunday 12. If you love fantasy and horror films, from Hotel Omm we recommend you not to miss this new edition of the International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia.
