28/9/16 The best design of the year
¿Are you interest in the design world? If you are, then for sure you’ve heard of FAD (Foment de les Arts i del Disseny) and its multiple activities. This year the FAD has gathered the finalist and winner design pieces of the principal awards given by associations of the FAD to present an exhibition full of creativity which its available to visit from Tuesday to Thursday until October the 30th at the Design Museum of Barcelona.
27/9/16 Ming Dynasty
The treasures of the Ming dynasty, penultimate to rule China and recognized for the years of stability they brought to the people through the history of the Asian country, have arrived to Caixaforum to tell us their story in an exhibition open to the public every day until October 2th.

Barcelona is a city rich in architecture, there is no doubt that every corner of the city it’s filled with historical value, as you can see in building like La Casa de les Punxes, open to the public since last august and that you can visit from 9h to 20h.
5/9/16 “The thinking machine” by Ramon Llull
The Contemporary Culture Center of Barcelona (CCCB) is presenting us to the extraordinary exhibition called “The thinking machine” dedicated to the work of the recognized catalane notionalist Ramon Llull. At this exhibition, we can see the impact of Llull’s work, which has been an inspiration for so many new artist of our time. It will be showing until December 11th.
29/8/16 Barcelona’s history in pictures
Barcelona in currently one of the most modern cities in Europe, but we cannot forget the history still living in the streets and buildings of the condal city. The art exhibition “Barcelona. La metrópoli en la era de la fotografía” (Barcelona. The metropolis in the era of photography) showing at the Center of the Image “La Virreina”, is an authentic history archive that shows us the old years of the city from 1860 until 2004.
17/8/16 The Madrazo & Catalonia
One of the most representative families of the Spanish art, and bound to its culture is without a doubt the Madrazo family, whose generations have formed a fundamental part in the Spanish artistic culture from century XIX. If you do not want to miss this exposition, visit the Fran Daurel Foundation until September 30th.
