Film&Cook, film and gastronomic festival

The festival includes culinary film productions coming from different parts of the world, such as the Irish film The food guide to love, the comedy documentary The great chicken wing hunt, about a journey done across USA while looking for the best Buffalo chicken wings, or the documentary from India My name is Salt. In addition to the projections, showcookings will take place by recognised chefs, such as Sergio Padilla, from Bocachica restaurant, Albert Raurich, from Dos Palillos, or Paco Pérez, from Miramar.

Mexico, as guest country, will have a special section on Film&Cook. Elogio a la cocina mejicana will be shown, and some mexicans chefs will take part on it, such as Roberto Ruiz or Alejandro Ribas, who manage Rocambolesc with Jordi Roca, consultant of Hotel Omm, Michelin-star hotel.

Furthermore, Film&Cook festival will host the new section Market&Taste, a culinary show where attendees can taste and buy delicatessen products. Among the gourmet brands offering heir products, Jean Leon wines (DO Penedès), Tartuflanghe, company from Piemonte, world capital of the white truffle, organic cookies Paul&Pippa, or the traditional breads from Turris. Three drinks from Mexico, Tequila Herradura, Enmezcalarte and Sotol, will also be part of the degustation, as it could not be otherwise.

During two days, gastronomy and cinema will mix in Barcelona. Film&Cook promises to be a landmark event for lovers of cinema, cuisine and culture. If you are among one of them, you should not miss this occasion!
