15/6/13 Moto Gran Premi Aperol of Catalunya 14-15 and 16 June

This weekend we will live the best competition in the world of motorcycling: MotoGP. The race will take place on June 16th at the Circuit de Catalunya.

MotoGP is composed of 18 Grand Prizes that take place in 13 countries. It’s been a long time since its first edition in 1949, but this 65th edition, it won’t be missing a bit of the passion and adrenaline the competitors as much as the fans have for this popular sport.

The current Moto GP World Champion, the Spanish Jorge Lorenzo and racer for the team Yamaha Factory Racing will try to achieve his third title facing his colleagues and rivals Dani Pedrosa with Honda  and the young Marc Marquez, also with Honda. The task will not be easy since he will have to face the best talents in motorcycling in the world like Valentino Rossi and Cal Crutchlow, among others.

The Grand Prize celebrates two days of free training and classifications  for each category, on June 14th and 15th, and the great race will be celebrated on Sunday 16th at the Circuit de Catalunya located at Montmelò, 20 km north from Barcelona.

MotoGP this year has been inaugurated on Wenesday night with the opening of the “El Olimpo del Motor”, where you can enjoy a permanent exhibition dedicated to Marco Simoncelli, the exceptional Italian racer who died in 2011.

In Hotel Omm we share the passion for motorbikes and we will not miss a minute of the race!
