8/7/13 The “080 Barcelona Fashion” is back

From July 8th to 12ve will be celebrated the new 080 runway that will show the fashion proposals for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection and it will repeat stage at the DHUB – Disseny Hub Barcelona, building where also took place the last edition.

080 Barcelona Fashion was born in July 2007 with the goal of being a platform where to give visibility to the independent designers and to become a referent in design and fashion in the international scene. The creativity and innovation are the concepts that inspire 080 Barcelona Fashion, without forgetting the market’s importance and the need to give a profitable outcome to fashion.

Over thirty brands and designers will assist the 10th edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion. Amongst them are MANGO, Custo Barcelona, Desigual, Guillermina Baeza, Josep Abril, Miriam Ponsa, TCN, Manuel Bolaño and Krizia Robustella.

The event has as goals to turn Catalonia into a referent for the generation and the projection of design in the fashion sector, to consolidate a project in long the term that offers credibility and a differentiated signature in the world of design, production, distribution and promotion of fashion, as to bring closer fashion to the public in the streets.

080 Barcelona Fashion is part f the Plan de Dinamización de la Moda Catalana 2007-2010, which the Innovation, Universities and Enterprises Department of Catalonia Government promoted. A plan designed with the intention of reactivating the textile sector creating synergies with the fashion design that is currently done in Catalonia.

With the will of occupying a space into the independent fashion circuit, this event pursues turning Barcelona into a first level display window worldwide. That is the reason 080 Barcelona Fashion goes for the “fashion culture” in a comprehensive sense, and pretends to be more than just a fashion runway.

So, from July 8th to July 12ve the city will live some very intense days and we can’t think of a better way of relaxing after a visit to the 080 runway that in our design hotel in Barcelona, the Hotel Omm.
