From 22 to 25 of may will take place the 41st Conde de Godo sailing trophy. This competition is one of the most important in Spain and these days Barcelona is full of amazing boats ready to win this renowned trophy.
The competition has two categories. The first one is ORC, the largest category. Under the international compensatory time off system, cruises are divided in three group by their size. Trofeo Conde de Godó has the strongest teams both in Spain and in the world.
More than 50 teams will take part in the competition. The most exciting thing of this trophy is that both professionals and amateurs are present in the competition.
The second category is the Monotype one, a big event in Spain and also very popular in the whole world. It’s one of the most exciting competitions due to cruises asymmetry, which allows to achieve great speed. Crews count with four or five sailors, both professionals or amateurs. Crews’ hability in organization and tactics will mark the victory.
