10/5/13 Tires ready, the Spanish Formula 1 GP is on!
The Formula 1 Grand Prize of Spain has started its 2013 edition in the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. Until May 12ve you will be able to enjoy a weekend full of adrenaline.
With the spring not only arrives the nice weather, the beach and the sun so during four days the city leaves aside the swimsuits and beach towels to get to Montmelò to witness one of the most expected events of the year.
This year, once more, Barcelona and the Circuit de Catalunya will be the hosts of the Grand Prize of Spain Formula 1. The even started yesterday May 9th with a day were attendants were able to visit the pit-lane, the racing team’s boxes and enjoy an afternoon together with the racers while they signed autographs.
The first Grand Prize of Spain was raced in 1923 along a road circuit 300 km long, near Madrid, in the way to Valladolid. Nowadays it’s over 20 years that we enjoy this beautiful event in the city. The Grand Prize of Spain of Formula 1 it’s traditionally the first race in Europe after the Asian tour.
In the next few days of motor race passion, we will be able to live days of practices and qualifications that will take place on May 10th and 11th to end on Sunday, May 12ve with the amazing final race and a spectacular celebration.
The Spanish fans have all their hope put in the national pilot Fernando Alonso but without losing tale of what happens with the great pilots such as Lewis Hamilton, Jason Button and the seven times world champion of Formula 1, Michael Schumacher.
