Art in Barcelona

Of international fame, Frank Lloyd and Harry Fisher, who later joined by the current Duke of Beaufort in 1948, David Somerset, originally founded this gallery in London in 1946.
In 2006, its headquarters opened in Barcelona. Since then, together with its other headquarters in Madrid, they have hosted numerous exhibitions of renowned artists such as Soledad Sevilla, Tanadori Yamaguchi, Joaquín Barón and Lucio Muñoz, among others.

This gallery is specialized in modern and postwar art. Founded in 1989 in Barcelona with the help of the families of many of the avant-garde artists of the twentieth century, including great names such as Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí.
The projects carried out in this gallery are created under a strict research and documentation procedure in which foundations and institutions dedicated to preserving the work of these historic artists also collaborate.
One of the initiatives promoted by the Mayoral, for example, is the Miro’s Studio project, which incorporates several elements to recreate the atmosphere that was lived and felt in his studio and that served as an inspiration to the artist

This gallery defines itself as a space that feels a true passion for creativity. Its main goal is to value and support new national and international talents, without losing the individual value that makes them different from each other.
Founded in 1991, it is currently also involved in different projects related to the world of art and the presentation of new talents, in addition to serving as an exhibition center. This year, for example, he has participated in LOOP Barcelona, an international fair dedicated to video art, and in the Talking Galleries, which seek to promote the development of the industry.

A Gallery located at the epicenter of contemporary art in Barcelona, specifically in Pintor Fortuny street 27 of the mythical neighborhood of El Raval, very close to the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona.
Galería Àngels was born in 2007 because of the experience of its founders in their former Gallery known as Galería Dels Ángels, active from 1995 to the same year 2007. The works and artistic projects found in their space are characterized by skepticism and criticism practices on its own artistic medium.
Some of the artists who exhibited their works here are Pep Agut, Jorge Ribalta, Daniela Ortiz, Michael Snow, VACCA, Mabel Palacin, Mireia C. Saladrigues and Alexandra Navratil.
