On June 14 the curtain call of the Teatre Biblioteca de Catalunya received the play “Bodas de Sangre”, which is undoubtedly one of the most acclaimed of the playwright and poet Federico García Lorca. A tragic story marked by symbolism
Blood Wedding addresses the great themes of life like, death, love, passion, gloomy feelings and jealousy through symbolism, traditions and customs that, as a major force and vital impulse, make the life of the characters of this play into a tragedy.
Nevertheless, in this play of great drama, the main theme focuses on life and death. The spectator will be drawn into a world where jealousy will unleash in a tragic result that only true love can overcome.

This spectacular show is a production of the performing arts center La Perla 29 under the direction and staging of Oriol Broggi, with the great performances of Clara Segura and Nora Navas. In addition, this representation promises a fantastic musical assembly, thanks to the participation of the singer and accordionist Joan Garriga.
