The Moscow Ballet returns to Barcelona

Art, Barcelona, Dance

This great company comes to town as a continuation of their summer tour, celebrating its 25th anniversary with two masterpieces by Tchaikovsky to be enjoyed until August 9th at the Tivoli Theatre. “Swan Lake” will be playing from July 28th to August 2nd and “Sleeping Beauty” from August 5th to 9th.

With choreography by Marius Petipa, a genius of ballet, the company promises a show without reference, with emotion that only ballet knows how to evoke and one of the best in Europe. The main dancers, figures of international recognition, will be Cristina and Alexei Terentiev.

This time the Moscow Ballet is especially proud to be here, because it is celebrating 25 years of its creation by Timur Fayziev, who after being a soloist in the best Russian companies since his teens, he founded the Moscow Ballet with the only dream of spreading his passion for this art.

Throughout its history, the Moscow Ballet has displayed a repertoire of the best pieces of classical ballet such as “Nutcracker”, “Giselle”, “Don Quixote”, “Romeo and Juliet” and “Dream of a Summer Night”; professionalism and prestige has led them to be the only guests from all over Russia to participate in the last tour of the legendary dancer and choreographer Rudolf Nureyev.

Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy one of the best ballet companies in Europe representing these two classics by Tchaikovsky. If you love ballet, Omm Hotel 5 stars recommends “Swan Lake” and “Sleeping Beauty” by the Moscow Ballet.
