The Rolling Stones at the Estadi Olimpic
The legendary English band The Rolling Stones makes its expected return to Spain on September 27 at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, after 3 years since its last visit. The event belongs to the “No Filter” tour with which The Rolling Stones will perform in 12 European cities.
A longed-for return to Ciudad Condal
The first time The Rolling Stones performed in Spain was on June 11 of 1976, at Plaza de Toros Monumental in Barcelona. Since then, it’s been 41 years and 22 concerts in Spain, of which six took place in Barcelona.
With a successful musical trajectory of more than 50 years, 25 studio albums and thousands of fans in Spain there is no surprise to the fact that the tickets sold out in just a few minutes for their next and only concert in Spain, on September 27, at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys of Barcelona.
The servers of the online sales platforms where users queued to get their tickets collapsed by exceeding the allowed user limit. They sold 500 tickets per minute, 35,000 during the first four hours.
A perfect place, for a great event
The venue chosen to welcome the Stones is the Olympic Stadium of Barcelona, which has a capacity of 55,926 people. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the stadium where the Olympic Games of Barcelona 92 were inaugurated, which this year celebrated its 25th anniversary, so attending to this concert is a double luxury.
To get to Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium from our hotel with spa in Barcelona, you have the options to go by taxi or take the Line 3 of the metro from Diagonal station, to Plaza Espanya station.
Once in Plaza Espanya, you can walk up to enjoy the spectacular views from Montjuïc or you can connect with the bus 150 that will leave you right in front of the stadium.
From the Hotel Omm we wish you enjoy the ride and the spectacular night of rock & roll with The Rolling Stones!
