Gastronomic festival ‘Tast a la Rambla’ 2018
From June 7 to the 10th, when in Barcelona, visit La Rambla and discover its most gastronomic side! During that weekend, the gastronomic festival ‘Tast a la Rambla’ will be celebrating its fifth edition, offering small doses of the great restaurants of the city, so you’ll be able to have a bite of all! Furthermore, at the same time two of our favorite restaurants, Bar Lobo and Luzia, will be participating in the Tapas Route organized by the same festival, don’t miss them!
‘Tast a la Rambla’ proposes a different plan for lunch or dinner, gathering in one of the most iconic places of Barcelona some of the best chefs in the city. It’s the perfect excuse to visit and rediscover an avenue full of life, culture and history, walking down this main street from Plaza Catalunya to the sea and enjoying the summer ambience.
Along the Rambla de Santa Mónica you’ll find during these days fifty restaurants carefully chosen from the great gastronomic offer in Barcelona. In their stands you’ll be able to try from traditional or avant-garde cuisine to tapas and small dishes, pastry sweets and Asian Street Food.
Moreover, one of the activities we like most of this festival is the Tapas Route, in which many restaurants and bars of the area compete with their best creations. This year, we’re especially excited because two of our favorites will take part in it: Bar Lobo and Luzia, both located on Pintor Fortuny street.
At the first you’ll find one of the nicest terraces in the city, with a healthy and fresh cuisine featuring some of the most popular eats among local people. At the second restaurant, you’ll enjoy a Mediterranean brasserie with perfect dishes to share and a little bit of everything, for all tastes!
Organized by Amics de la Rambla and Grup GSR, ‘Tast a la Rambla’ is a journey of aromas around Barcelona and the world, a walk through one of the most emblematic streets of the city combined with an explosion of flavors, emotions and textures. And within walking distance of our hotel in Paseo de Gracia. Go for it!
