The 40th Grec Festival Barcelona
The Barcelona Grec Festival is a festival that was born in order to bring art to everyone, a festival by the people for the people in a time when not everyone could access culture. A self-managed initiative with the dual aim of bringing the institutions need to take part in the future of a culture accessible to everyone.
The Grec was growing year after year becoming a benchmark of the cultural festivals, reaching this year its 40th edition, which for now is being a success.
In this issue, we can watch great plays like “The witches of Salem”, in the Teatre Grec from 1 to 5 July, “Joana 2015, Field Battle” in the Teatre Eòlia until 17 July or “Love Story”, in the Teatre Lliure Montjuïc – Room Fabià Puigserver with only two passes on 17 July.
We can also enjoy at evenings the small concerts in the gardens of the Teatre Grec, as well as artists like Estrella Morente on July 10th, also at the Teatre Grec. We recommend you not to miss the concerts will take place in the Sala Barts and in Jamboree.
In this festival, theater and music are not only taking place, also you can enjoy even the circus and other activities where even the youngest children will stay with their mouths open. So stay tuned to the programming.
