7/8/17 The Born at night: Meet Barcelona of 1700
The Born district, along with the Gothic Quarter, is one of the oldest in the city of Barcelona and was the economic center of the city between the 13th and 15th centuries. This summer, in order to bring the neighborhood’s activity closer to its time of greatest economic splendor, the “Born Center de culture i memòria” performs an activity called “El Born de Nit” which takes place every Wednesday and Thursday from 9 to 10pm between the 28 of June and 31 of August.

This fourteenth edition of the festival aims to liven up the different corners of the city center with the best live music, complementing the Barcelona billboard of the month of August, from the 1st to the 31st of August.

Next Saturday, July 29, Barcelona will host for the first time in the Park of Can Zam of Santa Coloma de Gramenet the well-known festival Unite with Tomorrowland, a live connection with the main stage in Belgium. There will be 12 hours of uninterrupted live music in which attendees will enjoy the best international DJs.

Just like this, 25 years have passed since that “Barcelona” sung by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé, since the “Mediterranean “show performed by La Fura dels Baus, the song “Amigos para siempre” and Mariscal’s mascot, Cobi.
24/7/17 The exhibition Loghtforms/Soundforms by the artist Brian Eno, finally arrives to Barcelona
The exhibition Lightforms / Soundforms opened to the public this past June 14. This is the most complete sample of the work of the multifaceted British artist Brian Eno. The exhibition will take place in the Max Cahner Cloister of the Arts Santa Mònica center, located at the beginning of Rambla Santa Mònica and next to the monument to Colombus.
