Windows to the world in the CaixaForum
CaixaForum brings us closer to the realities of different parts of the world from the activity “Windows to the world”, a screening of short films by different authors that show life and adversities that people of Latin America, Asia and Africa must overcome. The activity is free and can be enjoyed in the CaixaForum Barcelona until August 28th.
Knowing the world and what is happening in different countries is important. A good way is traveling and knowing the reality experienced by people of different countries, although sometimes traveling does not offer enough perspective to get an idea of what is really happening.
From Hotel Omm, your hotel in Paseo de Gracia, we propose an activity for you to know the different realities of the world in a different way, through short films featuring people in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
CaixaForum, culture for all ages
CaixaForum is a space of the Obra Social La Caixa intended to offer culture for all ages, through exhibitions and activities of different types. It has offices in different cities, in the case of Barcelona is located at the foot of Montjuïc, in a former textile factory work of Puig i Cadafalch, one of the main architects of Catalan Modernism.
At present it is a center that has five exhibition halls, plus the rooms dedicated to educational workshops, multipurpose rooms and an auditorium.
From the hotel in Paseo de Gracia we encourage you to take advantage of your stay to enjoy the various exhibitions that houses the CaixaForum and deepen the world’s cultures through the activity, Windows to the World.
