26/5/14 Countdown to 2014 Barcelona Design Week

Why is design necessary? How can it contribute to society? What is the difference between a quality design and non quality one? The answers can be as varied as 2014 Barcelona Design Week programme. The international event focused on design and innovation is back in the Catalan city from 2 to 14 of June.

23/5/14 Start the day with breakfast at the Roca Bar

From our five star hotel we offer a very complete buffet breakfast to get energy. The breakfast buffet is made with honey, locally based high quality charcuterie and cheeses, a variety of breads, ham, salmon and vegetarian sandwiches small size, all freshly made. And if you prefer sweet, we offer homemade pastries such as croissants, pancakes and assorted pastries. We you can order the omelette that you prefer to taste! All prepared at the moment!

19/5/14 Come and enjoy again the evenings on our terrace

The good weather is here and with it returns the terrace of our hotel in Paseo de Gracia. From seven in the evening of Thursday 22th May, you could enjoy a selection of dishes from the Roca Bar, our casual restaurant in the hotel, a sushi bar run by the restaurant El Japones of Grupo Tragaluz and ice creams from Rocambolesc, Jordi Roca’s ice creams shop located in the center of Girona.

16/5/14 Free museum night in Barcelona

Have you heard about the free museum night in Barcelona? If you have not had the opportunity to discover many museums yet, Hotel Omm highly recommend you to do it on May 17th. This is the night when “La Nit dels Museus” (The Night of the Museums) will take place in Barcelona. It is a special night when more than 70 exhibitions from Barcelona and its surrounding area open for free until early morning hours. As well as the special time (from 7pm to 1am) and price, some venues will include special activities, live performances, music and guides tour for all public.

Since last March there is a new visit guide in Casa Milà. It is “L’altra Pedrera” (“The other Pedrera”), a new activity that allows visitors to learn more from Casa Milà, one of the most famous works of Gaudí in Barcelona.
