Art and cinema. 120 years of exchanges
A different point of view
Art and cinema. 120 years of exchanges, is an exhibition organized by Obra Social “La Caixa” in collaboration with the Cinemathèque Française; Divided into 9 sections that take the viewer to a journey through time, starting from the most primitive cinema to the current digital cinema.
The relationship between art and cinema dates back to more than a century, during which time cinema has served as inspiration for many fields of visual art. This exhibition recovers some great moments where the influence of cinema in art is palpable and vice versa, and uncover other moments less popular to the public.
